This is my only Lone Star Treble-O-Lectric loco. These were made in England, and there’s a small collector following over there. I didn’t think anybody had posted a vid of an American prototype, but after I uploaded this, I saw somebody had actually just put one up a few months ago. Anyway, enjoy this, the noisiest, and almost worst running N scale in my collection.

I still have an old HO scale Athea rn F unit that has that goofy rubber band drive. Not one of mankind’s best engineering attempts...

TIL: never knew until now someone thought it was a good idea to use rubber bands as drivetrain components! Neat but most definitely a piece that’s better suited on a static display self rather than running on a layout.
